Poor sleep is one of the most common complaints from people finishing their cancer treatment. It can negatively impact almost every area of your life. There is something that you can do! The Department of Psychosocial Resources is offering programs designed to help you improve your sleep without medication. All patients complete a thorough sleep assessment prior to beginning the program and are randomly assigned to join one of two programs, both of which have been shown to improve sleep. In these programs you will meet with other people and learn skills to improve the quality of your sleep, and your life! The professionally-led groups meet once a week for 8 weeks and programs are offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
