New Survivor Stories and Educational Videos
CancerBridges has held 4 education sessions over the past two months with many engaging and informative presenters who are leaders in their fields. In case you missed the presentations, they are now all online!!
Under the resources tab at the top of the page, you will find “Survivor Story Videos” and “Survivorship Educational Videos“. Click on either of those tabs to watch the 8 new videos that have been posted from the past few sessions in 2012. The professional presentations cover topics such as fatigue, nutrition, fear and uncertainty, distress and new developments in survivorship research in Alberta. The survivor stories cover things such as finding the new normal, how to tell your story, moving forward after cancer and regaining your vitality as well as conveying wisdom that can only be learned through listening to other survivors stories.
Please take a look and make sure to pass on the CancerBridges.ca website information on to other cancer survivors who may need to hear these lessons.
